Bachpan is the story of human bondage. Three children Ram, Tom & Rahim, though they belong to different religions still they are one. Neither in their respected houses nor in their classrooms they are happy, but happiness comes to these children through Kashi, the toy maker and seller.
Kashi sings for these children. He makes them happy but in the night time Kashi is quite sad and all alone looks like a man who is broke, addicted to drink, only to live in the world of his dead children.
Lajo, the flower selling girl who shares the sorrows of others, sympathises with Kashi. Daily she gives him flowers, in which her affection is hidden, Kashi offers these flowers to the river where his lovely children died.
Ram, Tom and Rahim want to solve the problem of Kashi as well as Lajo but is it possible for these children and Lajo to solve the Tragedy of Kashi?
See BACHPAN.
